Geoffrey Dashwood - Contemporary sculptor
Geoffrey Dashwoods’ sculptures are primarily of birds in bronze. Dashwood eliminates superfluous details to attain refined forms with smooth tactile surfaces which are enhanced by the application of coloured and multi-coloured patinas. Although his work can be placed within the genre of wildlife artists, Dashwood has transcended the subject matter and his bronzes are firmly established in the wider field of contemporary art. Exhibitions: Biennially in London, regularly in New York and internationally for over 20 years. Home studio, gallery and sculpture garden are open by appointment.
